We welcome any feedback or questions around the site and how it could be improved. Here’s a run-down of how the site is laid out. Please feel free to drop us a message to ask any questions.

The car park:
This is level with a gravel surface. Cross the carpark over the tarmac road to the path next to the shop - follow the signs.

The path entry:
There is a bark and paved path with a very wide gateway - the gate is always propped open. This path leads into the Saunahood site where the surface is well-trodden bark.

The changing facilities:
Changing is outside - there are deck chairs and boxes on the bark surface to store your belongings, or there is a small mixed indoor changing space and we also have zip up canvas changing rooms with level entry.

The communal changing room sits on a paved deck and there is a lip on the door frame, the doors are narrow but can be opened wider.

The toilets:
There is also an accessible toilet and shower block at the edge of Saunahood. This is accessed by crossing the grass, going through a gate with a long ramp up to the toilet doors. The first door goes into an accessible shower/toilet room.

The cold water showers:
We have a removable ramp up onto our decking where there are two cold showers - on the either side of the horse box. There’s raised decking around the both saunas, the showers and the plunge pools. We have stools to go under the showers and inside and outside of the pools.

The cube sauna:
This sauna has a long gradual ramp up to the outer door, and within the porch a glass door, the doors are 92cm wide. The flooring is level. There is a lower and higher bench in this sauna in an L-shape.

The horsebox sauna:
The sauna has a ramp up to the glass door, the door is 61cm wide. Directly inside the door there are two steps, then two long wooden benches facing each other.
